hah just played a test game last night, that sure is a special situation, especially how soon you need to face your valley room-mate and that you know exactly where they will be. And you are basically forced to expand in their direction because of the strong indies hemming you in. Fun stuff.

It's not supposed to be normal game. It has to be brutal and fun. And yes, half of players will be out by mid-game. You may get unlucky with neighbour in a valley etc, but well, life is not fair.

Oh I agree, my "fun stuff" comment was sincere
I just want to make sure I am not picking a nation that can't get a game plan going in the first year... Heck I was at the enemy capitol in my valley within half a year so I can see you knowing how your neighbour is by turn 3.
Cool to play a game with such a different strategy. It has long term potential since it is large map but you need blitz style survival/tactics in the early game.
