I have not tried PBW yet.. but plan to. One question I would have, is can the host lengthen the time for turn turnarounds as the game grows more complex ? Seems from some of the discussion here, that you can.

Yes, the game host can change the turn duration as needed. The host can also change when/how the server runs the turns: it can be fully automatic, only after the Last player uploads his turn, only when the turn duration expires, or only when the host manually runs the turn.
It's quite common to adjust these to accommodate players who are going on trips, etc.

Well, now that I have gotten out of school, and all I have to worry about is a job I can probably get started with PBW
I have had an account but I never could play, due to time problems.
