Redeyes is an unknown quantity at this point

Perhaps it is a heritage unit?
A quick google search indicate that you could get them as a random event back in Dominions 2. (link)

The unit with id 1565 is named "Peasant".
The IDs directly above and below it are R'lyeh LA Freesapwn, but the peasant isn't part of those.
