Re: Ritual of Rebirth
I believe that if you Rebirth a hero *before* the 6 turns that his prophet status is retained. I know I've seen it - I don't know under what circumstances.

The following pic is from a ancient MP game where I was playing Machaka. When I researched Ritual of Rebirth, I noticed that my Giant Black Spider prophet (dead for like 30+ turns) was still in the HoF with his heroic strenght. When I brought him back, I was pretty suprised..
Note that the guy in the pic is suffering from the "weakened" affliction (real bummer, huh?). I eventually equipped him with 2x Sword of Quickness and a Jade Armor for eight 80+ damage attacks per turn for some epic SC slaying. However, he got sent to hell and never came back. Must have been that negative fire resistance..

Now that I think about it, this might be a good way to make use of that "Heroic Obesity" trait that seems to come up from time to time.
Haven't tested it thought, but it's probable that the reanimated undead fatso doesn't get the crippling +3 encumberance, just the amazing str and hp bonus.

Re: Ritual of Rebirth
Of course undead don't get melee encumbrance. Too bad some values from heroics don't seem to grow, like fear from heroic cruelty.

I can confirm that it does work, and you get the normal undead ability to ignore melee encumberance, including the obesity addition.
I once had the Hannibal merc as a rebirthed Giant Mummy with Heroic Obesity + GoH = some 200+ Hitpoints (SP of course.) Other than the hideously low action points, he was a nice little SC. Not very flexible, though, due to inability to switch out gear...

Re: Ritual of Rebirth
In one EA MP game as Ctis I RoRed a H4 prophet with Heroic Obesity after 6 turns, and reprophetised him. Not only was he a beast at reanimating, but with mummy stats and some 250+ health in full friendly dominion he was quite capable of turning other thingies to dust
