Re: Rise of the Remorhaz Society
With the advances they have made in speech therapy, kids can catch up in no time. Since she was so young, she shouldn't have much trouble getting to where she needs to be. The good news is that when she went in for her checkup and hearing test, my daughter responded to the sounds better than anyone the test nurse had ever seen! Maybe those tubes were bionic?
BAM! Story inspiration!!

Re: Rise of the Remorhaz Society
Hey! It hasn't even been a month yet! I'll try to do some writing tomorrow night or on Sunday. There was a new Hearts of Iron patch put out today, and I HAVE to see all of the changes.

Re: Rise of the Remorhaz Society
You know, Sachmo, it's your style and quality of writing I come to this thread for ("for which I come to this thread"?), not so much the story of the Remorhaz specifically. If you would be more inclined to write the story of a different Space Empire, I wouldn't mind seeing this thread die to see more frequent Sachmo submissions to another, different thread.
I'd bet I'm not the only one who feels this way, but I'd also bet there are those that disagree. I just thought it should be said.

Well, I certainly wouldn't mind if he wrote other stories, but could I get by never knowing what became of the Remorhaz Society?

Re: Rise of the Remorhaz Society
Well, when I signed up (quite accidentally, I assure you!) for this second baby business, I didn't realize what I was getting into. You would think a guy would learn...
I don't think I'm ready to end this story. In actuality, it's still in the pretty early stages, and the future is still in doubt. When I reach the endgame, I might wrap it up early, but until then I will keep this one going. Albeit slowly.
And thanks for the compliments, guys. The fact that anyone wants to read it is reward enough.
