Default Missile Weapons Underwater.....

1. Do missile weapons such as bows work as expected underwater?
2. If so, are there any limiting factors (less range, etc.)?

I have searched several threads and the manual but not found the answer.

Most do not. However, there are a few forged bows that do. Off the top of my head, the Piercer and Ethereal Xbow both work.

I thought it was that all crossbows (maybe just all forged crossbows) work underwater, while no other bows do.

Definitely not all crossbows.

I think it's only /certain/ forged crossbows.

As far as I've always heard, but haven't tested, it's just the Piercer and Ethereal that work.

Does anyone know if there's a way to mod in actual units with ranged attacks that work underwater?

Copystats on Storm Demons? They can shoot underwater IIRC.

I think R'lyeh has got a few of those (ranged attacks that work underwater).

I suspect that any ranged attack that has no flysprite will work underwater. Ranged attacks with no flysprite also seem to hit more than they should, and/or ignore shields.
