Re: EA: Vanilla, Newbie game [RUNNING -- CHECK LLAMASERVER!]
because Vista doesnt like the C drive being messed with, i do everything from my desktop and copy and paste manually to the folder , which sometimes requires me to click on the campatible file tab to access the area of the folder i want. its a pain , but it works , some games are fine older games i have to do this . its no biggie once i figure out what works. I used to have a APPLE and man i miss those days. there was NO configuring anything on my old APPLE quadra , it either worked or it didnt . anyways, i got it down now, hope to meet you soon on the MAP jejejejej!!!

I must say, that using the llamaserver, once you figure it out, is really pretty great. Really facilitates large sized MP PBEM.

Re: EA: Vanilla, Newbie game [RUNNING -- CHECK LLAMASERVER!]
yeah it's pretty good. I gotta ask ya'll, can we please pick up the pace, at least for the first few turns? really not much to do until the end of year 1, so there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to get in 2-3 turns each day...

This isn't intended to be a high tempo game as I stated when forming the game.
No pressure, please.
Thanks

Re: EA: Vanilla, Newbie game [RUNNING -- CHECK LLAMASERVER!]
don't mean for this to be high pressure or anything but on the first 6-12 turns there really is nothing to do... send an expansion party, maybe 2 and even your pretender if awake SC and that's pretty much it... oh yeah and setting your mages to research.
once the quick early part is done with there's no need to pressure it, but right now I don't see a reason why turns should take that much time...

I agree, I cannot play at work. The weekend helps a lot playing, but it less simple the rest of the time.
Why is there no statistic ingame ? Is it an option ? May it be turned on ?
