Having it be downloadable will be a lot easier to convince my friends to actually buy the thing.

Definitely. Though the $60 will be a difficult hurdle too. However, grats to shrapnel for making it to the 21st century

Well, the physical manual is always better. And Shrapnel could graciously allow to all the registered owners access to the digital version too - the way other companies already do.
