In this example, you can actually choose the province. Either CT on top of the enemy before they move and fight them in the first province (magic phase), or CT to the target province and and be there to receive them (regular battle). |
The one difference, though, is that by CTing in province A, you're sure to intercept them(unless they have another mage teleporting away), while CTing to province B doesn't guarantee the fight, as the enemy might not move.
