Tanker, I tested Ncrawler's fix (at the link you provided) and must say it is a superior solution. I've tested it exhaustively on both WinSPWW2 and WinMBT (with a slight modification to that .exe). I've had no problem running the game(s) in full screen mode, none of the annoying color pallet shift that could occur.

Perhaps Don and Andy could implement this very small fix into the next patch. Until then it is a simple fix if one can make a new shortcut.
