I haven't played much MP yet but it seems that here the average provinces/player is lower (10-15 maybe ?) so I guess 15 is just the right number

.

I have no opinion about what version of cbm to take (in fact I even think my stategy will be better with 1.6), I just felt the question had to be asked.

15-20 gold is good, especially with indep at 8 IMHO
