Default Re: Game freezes

So far it occurs on my Vista machine, but not the windows 7 computer. There are no other programs open, outside of all the windows features and other programs that seem to run in the background. The only new software is a Firefox upgrade from a few weeks ago, plus the Microsoft, Adobe, and MacAfee daily or weekly upgrades. Doesn't seem to matter how long the computer has been running, or even if I have anything open in another window. Since this seems to be my very own problem, I will reload everything and not assume it is from a bad Microsoft patch.
Or get a new computer

Vista is the "Windows ME" of the early 2000s. I'd describe it as the "bad Microsoft patch" in question ... !

The best way to patch vista IMHO, is to apply a Windows 7 upgrade to it. It is the fixed version of Vista, after all. And probably cheaper than a new PC.

Cheers
Andy
