Version with bar armour never entered service, only was shown on MSPO salon in 2004 (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi..._Szakal%2B.JPG ). It was intended for Iraq mission, while the Polish Army uses Rosomaks as basic armoured vehicles in Afghanistan, and BRDMs are generally to be withdrawn soon.

It is a huge vehicle. IMO it should be bigger, than M113 (size 3).
