Never really got into this campaign myself. The first mission was tedious with the player having to move a huge core force along the edges of a huge map with practicaly nothing happening. Some immobile infantry at the forrest edge near the end of the map?

The second mission had you deploy your forces in a circle with enemy attacking from all sides with infantry. The enemy had no chance to inflict any damage to your forces and was just slaughtered. Just delployed my forces and hit the end turn button, boring.

The third mission had you start right next to enemy foces in the map edge. I stopped playing there.

Im sorry I did not like this campaign. I realise how much work goes into building a campaign and the scenarios and the maps are really nicely made. The authors map making skills are really good but scenario desing in my oppinion is not his strongest part.

Yes, the first two scenarios could be dispensed with. But it's relatively easy to "break the crust" in the third and move on to further objectives so you won't be bunched up near the map-edge, at least not for long. After that, the campaign is definitely worth it IMHO.
