Thanks This is very actual "theme" in TV/internet news. Btw, it's interesting to notice that Ukraine has mostly (?) T-64 based variations and less (?) T-80 variations in 2015 OOB's line-up...

In late nineties, choice was made in favor of the T-64, due to greater ease of maintenance on local factories. Others MBT were eventually withdrawn from service. As a result, in 2015 in service were only variations of T-64.
