Default Re: New scenarios "Red Thunder series"

"Red Thunder" series - Battle at Itibiri*

Date: November, 1962*

Battle Location: SE of Cardenas, Cuba*

Battle Type: Advance/Delay, US vs. Cuba

Game Lenght: 25 turns

Difficulty: Standard

DESCRIPTION: As the CIA predicted, Soviet troop number in Cuba is reported to be at least 4 times as expected (+40,000 troops) in addition to the Cuban +250,000 well trained troops. In this scenario forward elements of the US 3rd Infantry Division pushing East towards Soviet troop concentration areas meet up delaying Cuban forces and Soviet mechanized units provided with both Artillery and Air support.

Notes: If played against the AI the human player should take the US side.

Sources: Fictional scenario inspired by the Red Thunder Campaign on Strike Fighters 2 game by Thirdwire.
