DESCRIPTION: A well supported Nicaraguan Army Heavy Infantry Batallion is tasked with assaulting the small town of Sweeny, part of the main drive of the Cuban and Nicaraguan armies towards Houston finding stiff resistance from defending US army units.
Notes: If played against the AI the human player should take the Nicaraguan side.

DESCRIPTION: Elements from 2nd Marines Division supported by a nearby US Army amor unit delay an advancing Soviet Tank Battallion reinforced with a Motorized Rifle Company near Angleton, Texas.
Notes: If played against the AI the human player should take USMC/US side side.

I finally got the chance to finish this game. Great series and one of your most enjoyable (from my perspective)scenarios! Keep them coming.

Thanks for the feedback. I also enjoyed a lot your scenarios: "The Rabbit Hole" and "The Nutcracker".

Hi, signed up just to say thanks for the great scenarios involving one of the most interesting "what-if?"s to make to the movies! Always thought there was room in that universe to tell so many stories! There are a lot of good ones in those "Red Dawn +20" threads, for example(though lots of silly ones there too). I've been particularly impressed when I compare your maps to the actual locations on google maps. Do you use any special tricks or tools other than diligence? I started a map of part of MO awhile back but found the time and patience required was more than I had at the time, Lots of hills and stuff. I tinker with it every once in awhile but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, can't wait for the next one!
