While I and many others no doubt appreciate the intense attention to detail that this game has, I certainly know where you're coming from Don regarding the "Rivet Counting." Flavor is one thing but after a certain point its just tedious busy work. Keep doing what you do and don't worry if some of us Grognards get fussy over inconsequential things.
