Default spob20 Yugoslavia v9

To wrap this OOB up:

Corrections:

UNIT 17 - rename to 37mm AT-Gun, for consistency

UNIT 18 - should be the older, short barreled 45mm M.37 AT gun
(picture: http://wio.ru/galgrnd/pol/y1944-53k.jpg)

UNIT 283 - bad sabot ammo (the rounds under sabot should be AP instead)
Also, better name is PzKw 39H 735(f) since it's a tank the Germans gave to the Ustaše.

FORMATION 14 - start date should be 11/44

FORMATION 37 - purchase screen should be 4

There's no formation for arty prime movers - one is needed for the whole 1/30-12/46 period.
e.g. 4x UNIT 202 (Limber)

REQUEST NEW UNITS:

ZiS 42
(halftrack truck; useful since there's lots of rough terrain in the Balkans)
date: 1/45-12/46
unit class: 27
picture: https://s4.postimg.io/c0f2u6yjh/zis42_2_zpsb53ac894.jpg

Sled
(handy for those winter battles in the Balkan mountains)
date: 1/30-12/46
unit class: 167
(can be copied from Red OOB)

Fiat-Revelli M.35 MG
(to add a bit of diversity to the Partisan MG formation)
date: 9/1941 - 12/44
unit class: 194
pictures:
http://znaci.net/images/12274.jpg
http://www.znaci.net/images/8740.jpg
http://www.znaci.net/images/8744.jpg

Fortified House
(seems like a logical addition given the guerilla war setting)
date: 9/1941 - 5/45
unit class: 0
Ideas for weapon loadouts:
119 8mm Breda M.37
107 M24 Rifle
107 M24 Rifle
93 7.92mm VZ30J

107 M24 Rifle
93 7.92mm VZ30J
158 MP38/40 SMG
85 Molotov

Patrol Boat
Source in English: http://wio.ru/fleet/yugoslav/partizan.htm

Each of them was unique, but obviously this will need to be simplified for the game. My suggestions are to narrow them down to two units:

Patrol boat, Large (based on NB-1)

Date: 10/43-12/46
Crew: 16
Size: 4-5? (dimensions 25 x 6 x 2 metres, displacement 120 tons)
Carry: 130 or so (1 platoon)
Swim: 7 (11 knots)
Radio: 90
Armour: 2-3
Icon: 434
Weapons:
2 pdr AT gun (WEAPON 25)
2x 20 mm Breda Mod.35 AA gun (WEAPON 147)
15 mm AAMG (WEAPON 116)
(Smoke dischargers)
Picture:
https://zorancicak.files.wordpress.c...an-en-1944.jpg

Patrol Boat, Small (based on PČ-1)

Date: 10/43-12/46
Crew: 11
Size: 2? (displacement 20 tons)
Carry: 110 or so (1 squad)
Swim: 5 (7 knots)
Radio: 90
Armour: 2
Icon: 434
Weapons:
2x20 mm Breda Mod.35 AA gun (WEAPON 147)
2x12.7 mm Browning AAMG (WEAPON 117)

REQUEST NEW FORMATIONS:

Patrol Boat (if boats are added)
10/43-12/46

3 Sleds
4 Sleds
1/30-12/46

NEW WEAPONS:

REPLACE WEAPON 19 with 45mm obr.32/38 (see weapon 18, spob 11)

Just 3 cents:

63 Yak-9T - it should have only one MG and 37mm gun

455 SMV M.41 75L32 - a photo is very nice M.40 (short fenders ) L18 (which could BTW replace worse photos in Italian 009,038,260,347 SMV M.40 75L18) - the unit should be either M.40 L.18, or SMV M.42 75L34, like 135 in Italian OOB (semovente with L/32 gun was only experimental, and has beeen removed from Italian oob). I don't know which was used, but L18 was more popular Italian model.

(289,290 Partisan AT, 291,590 Cetnik AT - photos could be changed to something more Molotov-like)

According to German Panzers and Allied Armour in Yugoslavia in WW2, it was the L18.

Probably it was at some point confused with the SMV L.40 47L32, which was also present in the Balkans and used by both Axis and Partisan forces.

I've found some photos in Batailles et Blindes 66.

Some thought on Renault tanks:

1 FT17 - Yugoslavia also used FT armed with 37mm gun (attached photos).

5 Renault M.28 - Yugoslavia also used M.28 armed with MG (attached photo)

(Both units above could be re-classified to create mixed platoons, with 3 gun tanks and 2 MG tanks, according to French pattern (I don't know how Yugoslvia used them, but I guess in standard mixed platoons...?), but it might cause some mess with picklists in early 1930s, so maybe it's not worth it)

2 R-35 - I'm attaching photos of Yugo tanks

286 Reno FT-17 - photo is a tank with 8mm Hotchkiss MG (AFAIR, Nationalist Spanish tank), while this one is apparently from German deliveries, with FM 31 (might be eg German photo 27677).

That's all.

According to Serbian magazine Oružje (1991) they indeed used the 3 gun / 2 MG tanks per platoon pattern.

That said, I agree, if it messes with picklists it's not worth it IMO.

Couple of other things I've just noticed:

FORMATION 10 - end date should be 12/46
(I see no reason why they couldn't take a single Armoured Car rather than a platoon from 1945 on)

UNIT 281, 454 - you could extend these two until 12/46
(because currently the Captured Tanks formations have no units available after 6/46)

one minor thing:
147, 327 100mm Inf How - has a generic icon 61 with long barrel - more appropriate for Skoda M.14 is 2115 (used in Polish OOB)

In case you'd like to replace generic US sniper rifle, here's a nice photo: http://znaci.net/damjan/izvor.php?br=10074&vrsta=3

That's all for Yugoslavia from my side I guess.

One final thing to consider: the current Partisan flag is actually the flag of post-war Yugoslavia. The wartime flag was slightly different. Its star is smaller and lacks the gold trim, as seen here:
