Repair aptitiude and Organic armor

I have read some of those long armor threads and I am still trying to get my mind wrapped around this concenpt that Organic Armor will repair itself while in combat, but as soon as combat it over that regenerative ability stops. Very odd.

So I suspect this means that buying down my Repair apptitude is not a good idea.
