I'd love to join in on this, but unfortunately I don't know if I have the time to do so, especially if it were to start up right away. Perhaps if there was a buffer of a week or so in which to prepare? If nothing else, it would allow people to work on the backstories of their races and maybe even confer with other people (in the event of multiple human/terran players so that we don't have multiple Earths.  )

Well, I wasn't going to put a timeline on it or anything. I am asking people to give me an idea of their race's backgroud, not neccesarily the whole story, so I can make sure there aren't any duplicates.

Geo, has the necessary mod been posted anywhere yet? I can't find it.
If the mod isn't available yet, how did two of the players already upload their empires?

The mod has not been posted, but I will post it tonight hopefully. The changes are minor, there should be no problem with empire files made using the stock files. The advanced traits are not being changed.

I suppose I'll just have to wait for Part 3 to get a piece of this action, as the list looks full at the moment.
Should make for some sweet, sweet reading though.

It is, actually. Of course, naturally I hope that I should never have to be called upon to replace someone for this game.
