also. If that planet has storage fac. Then they are not added to the global resource pool.

Does it reduce the "Current Total" of available resources?

Edit: It must otherwise it would have no effect!

Are you sure about that? I've never seen blockade or space port status affect storage facilities. If you build them on a planet that you control, they work until destoyed.

I am inclined to agree with BM on this. I don't think a blockaded spaceport is affected aversely in any way.

I too, believe it has no effect on the spaceport. Note that you do not need a spaceport to make a storage facility operative. In one game, I had a lone, tiny, domed planet with deadly conditions. I used it for storage with no problem... and no, I wasn't using Natural Merchants.
