Ah, so that's the reason. As I stated in the game news, I had this happen in another PBW game I set up and this would explain why. However, also like I stated in the game news, after the first turn we are able to run the game from the standard savegame folder.

Which means you have PBW told to use standard SE4; this is the same thing you use when switching Versions of mods, or upgrading to a new patch for that matter.

Re: Star Wars vs Star Trek PBW Game
I run my savegame out of the regular seiv folder... But I open it after I use the modpicker to open FQM, I don't use the samegame folder IN the FQM folder.

Re: Star Wars vs Star Trek PBW Game
Hmm... that is a problem. Guess I'll have to get that fixed up.
If the components.txt file in FQM and the normal game were the same, then creating a game using FQM would not cause problems. The game would be loadable with the normal game.

Re: Star Wars vs Star Trek PBW Game
Only 3 turns in and we have had a player drop. (that sucks) The New Republic is available to anyone who wants in this game.

Re: Star Wars vs Star Trek PBW Game
Gandalph,
Is the game a 4 on 4 team game with the ST/SW races, or is it every man for himself?
