I saw a news item about a DDOS attack on the Internet backbone servers yesterday; I wonder if that was what caused the DNS problem.

That's my theory. I can't say for sure, but it's very likely. Myself and others were able to connect to the website by directing our browsers dierctly to the ip address, but trying to go to seiv.pbw.cc would not work.

Well then it was because of the DDos attacks.
They took down all but 4 of the DNS root servers, and that means u cant type in a URL and have it find the link by looking it up on the DNS... yet if u know the IP address u can still visit the address just fine |
