AI does not analize captured ships. It is easy to make AI research found ancient tech - simply add appropriate fields to AI_research file. Once AI find the ancient tech, it will start to advance new venues of research.

I'm kind of feeling lazy right now...is it possible to change the default construction rate from 2000? I didn't notice anything when I took a quick peek in settings.txt - aside from the usual pop modifiers.
