Re: Any One Here Still Play
Still play MOO2 on occasion. And Civ3 but not very much. Civ2 more and even CivNet and Civ1 wich is the one game that made me buy a PC!
I still think Civ1 (or CivNET) is a very good game and I play it a couple of times every year.
Never played BOTF though, or any other ST game, yet,
(And no, don't feel sorry for me I have a real life too )

Re: Any One Here Still Play
Wow, Capnq, you still have the old Civilization board game! That's probably a relatively valuable collectors item by now. I've heard the new Civilization board game (based on the computer game!) is pretty good. The problem is finding enough people to play (one of the great advantages of internet gaming).

"Relatively" is the key word. A quick search on eBay found a copy with a current bid of $51, and a package of Civilization + Advanced Civilization with a current bid of $11.49.
I've been collecting non-computer games (mostly board wargames) since I was 13. I stopped trying to count them sometime after the collection broke 240 titles. I have a list of the titles and publishers for both my computer and non-computer games; the .txt file is 10K.

Capnq, And I thought I went through a long wargame phase! I had about two dozen. AH games mostly. So where did you find room to store all those games? I was forced to eventually throw mine out.

At the moment, they're in 5 large cardboard boxes, a footlocker, and a couple open stacks in the corner of the bedroom. Most of the games in the stacks used to be in the drawers of a spare dresser.
The game collection doesn't take up nearly as much space as my books. I don't have any roommates, so I can get away with stacks of boxes around the apartment.
