mottlee, ok. How about the drivers? Do any of your nieghbors have a computer w/modem? If so you might check to see if it is the line. Sorry, for being a butinski. No one should have to u/l - d/l at 32K.

No it is not the drivers and not the phone line the comp ID's it and puts Com 2 to it and I can not use com 2 for modem and I forget how to change it to com 3, I did have it working before (2 years ago) was going to give it another go ot see If I can "Jog" my mind (what there is of it )

Well, I tryed to install internal modem and I get "Port not found in Regestry" looks like 1, a new comp.(200MMX now) 2, external modem Drat!
