HELP! Problem with PBW site
I had to reinstall my OS (Win XP Pro) and now when I try to access the PBW site IE give me a pop up box asking what to do with the menu.jsp file. If I try to open it IE asks what program to open it with and none of them work. I can open the site just fine from one of my other computers on the network.
Any Ideas would be helpful!

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
might it need java that isn't included in XP? IIRC PBW doesn't need it but maybe. Have you tried text based?

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
FTR, CapnQ has recommended you download the latest Java Runtime (JRE) from http://java.sun.com
We've seen this problem before, but for some reason it seems to be isolated to one or two people. If CapnQ's solution works, please let us know. Thx.

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
Yes, I did, and it even occurred to me to e-mail the recommendation after I replied on PBW's Admin Requests forum.
Didn't think to look up Sun's link, though. Thanks LL.

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
I found it...the page does not work when I have proxomitron running (a pop up blocker)...I can disable it but still can't access the page until I got to Tools/Internet Options/Connections/Lan Settings and Uncheck the proxy server box. Then it works fine. This is really strange because before I reinstalled the OS it had proxomitron running for months without this problem.

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
This is really weird...I was able to log onto the text site ONCE just now but then when I try to return it asked me what to do with the mainmenu.jsp file. I could logon to either site for around 3 hours after I first re-installed the OS then no menu.jsp

Re: HELP! Problem with PBW site
I already posted this in the PBW/IE6 SP1 thread, but I use PBW graphics with IE6 SP1 and Proxomitron, and have had no problems since I allowed all PBW cookies. My Proxomitron Version is Naoko-3(b); don't know if that's the most recent or not.
