You know, it never occurred to me to that the folder's Properties would show that. Thanks, Deathstalker!

My Shrapnel folder is a mere 967,402,977 bytes, but it's in 22,274 files and 586 folders. I've also got a separate "SE IV files" folder with 14,087,019 bytes, 40 files, and 3 folders; I keep backups of my PBW .zip files and unfinished mods there, as well as my drafts and notes for History of the Galaxy II, and some backup copies of shipsets. I've also got 4 floppies with more backups on them, which I'm not going to count because there are some duplicates from the other backup folder.

You don't honestly believe that, do you? You are some sort of Psychologist, Sociologist, Physiatrist type person. Correct? Wonder what that statement says about the inner you?!
mlmbd

Yes, size matters. Bigger is better, but only up to a certain point. If you draw a graph with size on the horizontal axis and the valuation rate on the vertical axis, you get a curve that rises first, reaches a maximum, and then drops off. The optimal size occurs where the tangent line is horizontal, i.e. the first derivative is equal to zero.

This thread was doomed from the beginning to turn into "that kind" of thread because of its title.
