Re: MP Game - Casual Carnage (noob/int game) - sta
ok np thufir . i just wait now if my suggested workaround letting someone send me the prepatch files works too .
because i am rather chaotic with my cds and dominions cd is probably hidden somewhere in a music cd cover .
with my searching luck it will be the Last of my 500 cds and so i will have to search 1 hour for the cd

You should copy the dom2.exe file (to something like dom2_2.12.exe), and make a shortcut to run that .exe at a later date. Then you can install the patch, but while you are playing in an MP game that has not upgraded, you should continue to run ver 2.12.
For this game, we'll need Sheap to upgrade the server end before we can all upgrade.

i've also lost my dominions cd.. would have been easier to hold on to if it came with a jewel case or box..
i wonder if its possible to download the install files.. they should make the demo download the full Version, and when you put in your serial number, it unlocks the features, that way we wouldn't have to rely on the CD, and Shrapnel would save a bundle on shipping.

Boron,
Have you found a copy of 2.12 exe yet? If not, maybe I can send you one. If you've got time to play a turn or two between your busy posting schedule, I think we'll be waiting on you again here shortly.
Cheers
