If I see my warriors with some beer of unknown origin I will declare war on you! Riding a Mammoth after alcohol is not exactly what I want to see in my army camp.

I have returned to whack R'yleh some more.
My thanks to Wokeye for keeping things chugging along under the waves. We Oceanian's prefer jelly shots.
I will honour all NAPs entered into by Wokeye and continue to try and build up some scales worth a damn.

Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
Gasp! The new dastardly king of Ulm has marched its armies to war against Skaven! It would have been nice if Ulm had at least notified us that they were planning on ignoring the agreements made under the previous king of Ulm.
Nevertheless, we shall mobilize our rat armies and head north, to battle!

Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
Call it that if you want, but I was only grabbing an independent province and our armies clashed.

Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
Ulm grabbed an independent province that was part of a previous deal with Skaven.
Skaven's messenger to Ulm said:
Quote:
If you'd like to keep your pact with Skaven, we've agreed to the following border:
Skaven: 175,164,143,150
Ulm: 192,180,182,166
159 (water) is for whoever gets it first.
|
Ulm's King responded saying that he'd get back to us in a couple of hours.
We received no more messengers, but we thought you would not ignore the border that had been agreed upon, so we only sent sufficient forces to defeat the small indy army in 150. Imagine our surprise to find your warriors there waiting for us.
If Ulm does not wish war with Skaven, then you may notify us that you are leaving 150, and we will resume our peaceful gnawing and scavenging and festering in the forests.

Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
The whole old administrative staff have been put to the block, as they tried to run the empire from behind my back. Most probably they thought me to be some gullible fop easily manipulated. I've also sent orders to the troops at the province in question to pull out, and they are doing this as I write this. I can assure you this will not happen again.

Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
A most understandable misunderstanding! There is always much chaos when a new King comes to the crown. The nation of Skaven admires the Ulmish King for his fairness and integrity.
Skaven is most sorry for any insults we may have flung at the shining Knights of Ulm, and regrets our bellicose and untrusting nature, in sending out orders to commit ourselves to battle. Please understand we are just a bunch of dirty rats.
Now we must cut short our apologies, and send new orders to our commanders with great haste!

Is Atlantis alive? They've staled the last 2 turns, and everyone else has submitted their orders for the current month.

Oh, hail brave Ripspine,
alone he charged at Ulm, crying,
"Reinforcements please!"
Biggus Rattus, Ode to Ripspine
(Also, 4 stales in a row for Sivoc/Atlantis now.)
