There are alot of DNS complaints in the SysAdmin newsGroups. Dont know yet if its just certain DNS softwares or DNS running on just certain OSs. I suspect some new virus/worm/DoS may be found to be a problem.
For awhile people might want to keep the IP number handy and use that where they wre using the named address.

no, it was not DNS related, I could not ping the IP adress. But now, it's ok.
Go figure.
