Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
So after 20 turns, I have to ask: how's the map? Any suggestions/feedback? How about the game overall? Criticism welcome! (except from poor KIM, who I've ruthlessly attacked! )

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
Regarding the map: I do not find it ideal that some capitals start just one province apart from each other (like #345 and #372). Even tough the other is land and the other is water nations, it still is uncomfortable that the other one will constantly have a "hostile" province right next to their capital.
Other than that I feel the map feels just great

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
I have just been informed by my wife (altough she claims she told me weeks ago...) that I will be traveling May 1st - 3rd. I may or may not have access to the internet during this time. Is it possible to set hosting interwall to 48 hours during that time?

I think we should honor Jarkko's request. Further, by this time we may be at a point where it makes sense to go to a 48(or is it 51?) hosting permanently (until amended of course). Anyone else agree?

Regarding the map: I like it a great deal. The combination of 6-7 adjacent provices to the cap in combination with *neighbors* that are 3 provinces way make for some interesting dynamics.

Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running
Well, I'm in the dead center, and while having lots of neighbors is great, it's the lack of any farmlands even near my start that I find a bit disturbing. There's not much income coming in from here, though being mictlan that isn't a huge issue in the long term...
Also, I'd like to move to 51h timer also sooner than later.

Timer extention has been requested and seconded. Vote to follow. I'm traveling but will delay hosting and send admin message when I get to a proper comp. C

I'm also against, I might think otherwise in a few turns though.

If you don't do it now....When do you expect to do it.
I will also start traveling The middle of May on weekends (I play Rugby) and have no laptop.
I don't want to be asking for extensions every weekend or having to Stale.
So I guess my vote is yes.
