Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
I did not send in my turn 43 and have recieved no new emails.
My guess is that when llamaserver is up again we should just send in our turn 43s and see what happens.
If its not on turn 43 then we will roll back to turn 43 since that's where it tanked.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
LOL, 33 would be a bit much...I meant 43.
Actually I received Yesterday or so a turn labled 43 but it was actually 44 when I loaded it and said I had a stale.
Tody I received a turn labled 44 and it also said I had a stale.
So it seems we are getting different e-mals from the server. Since our ADMIN bolted on us I suggest we Give that responsibility to Licker and let jhim do whatever is necesary to get us back on track...

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
Seems to have been done for us, I got the same turn I remember for 43, and sent in my turn (which it had saved anyway...)
Hopefully everything is ready, if you notice any major wierdness let us know, if it's minor weirdness probably not much to be done though

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
I deleted the 2H file totally and just put the new turn 43 in there and it is up and running!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know how many hours GMT is ahead or behind (I suspect its ahead 5 or 6 hours) of Central Standard Time in the USA?
Also, I will be doing my turn over the weekend so I hope we have until Sunday to complete it.
Licker, are you taking over the Admin?
OK men...let the fighting resume!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
I'll take the admin if pelthin is really gone, I already asked llama about it, but he hasn't PMed me anything yet.
I hope this works, I got some error with my turn in another game, so hopefully no issues here, since it takes around an hour for me to do my turns for this game.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
I read somewhere where it was BEST if you DELETED the whole old 2H file and then put the NEW turn in that folder (or whatever you have it in) and go from there.....worked for me and I was having big problems until I tried that.
Might be wirth doing it so you don't have hidden problems also.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
No, do delete the 2h file if it was produced from a different trn file.
Generally dom3 ignores 2h files from different turns. But if the turn number is the same, but it's from a different trn file (as happens after rollbacks and so on), dom3 can get itself in a massive confusion.
On the other hand, if you delete a 2h file that you're meant to be using, you just lose a load of work I guess.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
Just want to bring this up ahead of time...
This game has been most enjoyable, and still has alot of potential action left, but...
I'm going to be gone from Nov 26 through the 30th, I'm also going to be gone for 2 weeks around xmas. I'd prefer it if we could just take a pause over thanksgiving, but I understand that already having the llamaserver pause may not make that a very satisfactory situation for everyone.
Ideally we can find a sub for me as I have an interesting position (well at least hopefully it will still be interesting by then...), but I'd like to get a feel from everyone left in the game about their situation at that time and what everyone feels is the best solution.
