Nothing realy suprising IMHO.
MP getting low votes doesn't mean MP isn't played, but Dom has already a good MP support.

Hrmm another interesting poll.
Gfx & Sfx & Music 0% (0)
AI 56% (10)
It seems, that the players do not care about graphics, and it is all good. Finally a game with real strategy players.

Re: What should the Illwinter developers concentrate about in Dominions II.?
I voted too! Hey it seems that the players want some *** kicking AI!
Poll Results: What should the Illwinter developers concentrate about in Dominions II.? (26 votes.)
Gfx & Sfx & Music 0% (0)
AI 50% (13)
Editor 19% (5)
Singleplayer 35% (9)
Multiplayer 19% (5)
Gameplay 1.- Spells 12% (3)
Gameplay 2.- Units & Creatures 27% (7)
Gameplay 3.- Items & Special Sites 15% (4)
Adding new content [like the weapon/armor system etc.] 8% (2)
This is interesting indeed.

Re: What should the Illwinter developers concentrate about in Dominions II.?
This poll is a bit self-selective. Dominions I attracted only people who did not care much about graphics and sound, ergo, this poll show that people who anticipate Dominons II don't consider those to be priorities.
Fortunately, the Dom II graphics look pretty good, so I don't think it will repel many newcomers, like Dom I did. But I'm thinking an additional option, "Interface", would've gotten near 100% of the votes from Dom I players
As for single player, I'm not sure what that option means other than AI. Though a campaign mode could be interesting...

Re: What should the Illwinter developers concentrate about in Dominions II.?
Looks like I am the lone vote for better graphics and such so I figured that I had better qualify that. When I first saw the poll I figured that it was asking what things we wanted the developers to oncentrate on in Dom2 compared to Dom1. I thought that the other categories were quite well covered in Dom1 and that the only areas that could really use some work were the graphics (I tend to lump the interface in there too) and the AI.
When I say graphics I do not mean a 30sec blood gout animation every time someone gets hit. What I mean is to allow these epic battles to look a little more epic, as opposed to the stunted gameboard shuffling that usually makes me ship the battle replays in Dom1. It seems as though Illwinter has done just what I had hoped.
As for the AI... well you can always improve on that.

Re: What should the Illwinter developers concentrate about in Dominions II.?
Should re-run this poll a month or so after the game ships . Would make an interesting contrast to what people think they need, versus what people actually get.
Of course, beta testers excepted .

Okay, we will re-run this poll after the demo!
AI is still leading in this poll, I wonder what will change after the demo!:
