Oh, don't get me started on how good the Garnet Amazons are... a singularly nasty Sacred troop that's worth every gold of its cost (unlike the Wind Rider in most people's eyes), and 100g Sacred FB Bloodhunters. It can make anyone a Blood nation.

BTW, I thought people had reported a bug with the Gryphon Riders not fighting after the rider dies... I saw it happen in a 2.12 game. I'd almost pay 125g for the Gryphon by itself...

In a recent testbed (2.12) 2 provinces connected to my capital were populated by Garnet Amazons. IIRC both were wastelands.

The variant I see the less is the Crystal Amazons.
Even discounting the provinces where they are set on various maps, I run across a Garnet Amazon province every now and then.

I've never seen a Crystal Amazon one, though.

But has anyone seen the Garnet Amazons in Dominions 2? Post 2.06 or so? IIRC, there was a poll and no one had seen them since Dom1.
