Try this Dl.exe:

unzip to the companion_resource directory.
It won't fix it but if the downloadlog is enabled it will write a GAMENAME_DL.LOG file that has actual content even if there is a error (Duh!)

If you could do that I'd appreciate it as it could help me fix that problem.

This is the fun part, tracking bugs, honestly, I like it.

Ruatha, any possibility of uploading new Versions of the Companion to Shrapnel instead of your server? Or maybe both...

I'd rather have it at the imagemod server, that's where it belongs. So when it get's there I'll close my server.

I'ts easy to have the same link to the ver.txt that the app checks for updates.

Ok...when I d/l new turns...that seems to work fine. I have seperate folders for each game with their own savegame folder. The change savegame path works...and the d/l saved game goes there. Yet the program wants to create a file in the se4 main savegame folder. I believe that this is causing the upload of files to not work properly...what do you think...Am I not doing something right?
