The order in which you cast the domes has no impact. They are resolved in an order that is beneficial for the caster e.g. fire dome before astral dome before air dome.
Perfect! And thanks for the confirmation Archaeolept.

Default Re: Dome Question

I ran some tests on Dome of Corruption.

I cast the Dome on two different provinces for 25 turns each. Province One had 10 sages and Province Two had 5 sorceresses and 1 sage. None of the commanders are horror marked. This is with a Misfortune 3 scale btw.

Province One had 13 horror attacks. After each attack I would recruit another sage so I was always near 10 sages. One particularly bad turn had 3 horror attacks.

Province Two had only 1 horror attack. Interestingly, it was the sage in Province Two that got killed.

I guess Horrors don't like sages???

Something seems to be very wrong here. I'm going to try again and see if I can reproduce these results.

Default Re: Dome Question

One question regarding domes sprang up on me in an ongoing MP just recently. Namely, what spells ignore domes?

I've noticed before that sitesearching spells aren't blocked by domes. Now it seems to me that Astral Window flies past them also. Either that or I've been terribly unlucky as I've thrown several Windows on a province and none have been blocked even when (as I've now been told) the province in question has been well domed.

Anyone care to verify this or tell me I'm totally wrong? And can anyone tell which spells are blocked and which aren't? It'd seem the distinction between "offensive spell" and other spells is different from what I've thought if scrying can get through.
