Re: Go post in the new forum allready
I am so totally against this. Bleh. Another update to my bookmarks. This forum was sufficent.
Is Yarnspinners an interactive AAR or a multiplayer thread? Can we keep it here, please? Thanks.

It's a MP thread, that also happens to be an AAR. So it "qualifies" doubly for the new forum.
Updating a bookmark takes all of 1-2 seconds. What's the big deal? If it takes longer than that, you either need a better browser, or more practice playing with bookmarks. Either way, you'll be better off for the exercise.
{tease} Those of us that prefer not to wade through almost a dozen active MP threads to find one Q&A thread will be much happier once stubborn guys like you go to that other forum to make your Posts. {/tease}

BTW, a huge thank you, with hugs and kisses, to whomever uncluttered this forum by moving most of the MP threads over to the new forum.

Ug! Such a lushious affair!
I am the culprit. So if you have any undisguised hate or mildly disguised hate, you can direct it at me. I basically moved everything that was a currently started (though maybe finished by now) MP game over there. Though I left the MP discussion threads, as well as the Server threads (Moses and Sheaps), because I don't know what the other forum is exactly for other than MP games.
Did you want the AAR Sticky and corrisponding threads moved over there Arryn?

No. For the simple reason that almost all of the AARs are SP, and AAR Posts are sufficiently infrequent that they don't clutter up this forum the way the MP threads did. (I understand the reasoning behind why the MP forum's creator decided to lump AARs with MP threads in that forum's description. I just don't agree with it.)
BTW, you should move the big Mose Hansen server thread (second largest thread next to the bugs thread) over to the MP forum. IMO.

Re: Go post in the new forum allready
Neat to unclutter the forum, but I am confused now:
In the unlikely case that I want to advertise a new open MP-game, what should I do?
According to the description of the MP-game-forum, its for ongoing MP-threads only, which makes some sense, as advertisements for a new MP-game will reach more people here in this general forum (and the general Shrapnel-MP-forum is too confusing anyway). But I doubt somehow that it was meant that way, as then the Moderators are kept busy with "game has started, now move our thread"-requests...

Re: Go post in the new forum allready
I don't mind doing those requests. If you don't mind waiting however long it takes me to read your request to move it on over. The only issue I can see is that people suddenly have the thread they have joined a MP game moved to the other forum and do a Last second moment of panic that the game is gone or missing.
I have no problem with getting a MP game together here, then when it's started and moved into it's "Always at the top of the forum" stage of Posts it go to the MP forum where it's easier to track them? (I guess?)

It wasnt so much so that the MPs would be easier to track. It was so that everything ELSE would be easier to track. Basicaly the threads which the devs dont tend to watch. It makes things like Q/A, bugs, and suggestions easier to follow. Plus allowing such threads to remain in-the-view abit longer
We could change the description to only be MPs I guess.
Im not sure on the server thread. Much of it is important concerning requests to add switchs for better automated hosting but it gets lost in other stuff. Maybe splitting it.
