Well, the vehicle is a rocket with a "jet turbine with 1350 pounds of thrust", so presumably, after the initial thrust from the crossbow, the engine will take over and carry it the rest of the distance (if it actually works )

But if you have a "rocket with 1350 pounds of thrust", do you really need a first push from an underpowered elastic band? Also, how much rocket fuel does that thing look capable of carrying? There's a reason space rockets are built the size of office blocks...
