Why not remove the item pictures, and put "B S U P" instead. That's what I did, and it will trim another 40% off the view-blockage.

I do not understand that. why must one always the graphics change in order to represent the flag size because of the overview better?

TNZ Small Flag Mod History:

Version Two:
Remove the B S U P Pictures.
Makes number panel transparent.

Version One:
Makes existing flags smaller.

Because the in-game reduction
1) Does not make them small enough
2) Causes the ship/base/unit numbers to become too small and start to fade out.

This way, you get smaller flags, legible text, and a much better view of the system.
