Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
Great. Welcome, namad.
One slot left. It would be good if we could get one more player with a bit more experience to balance things out a bit.

Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
Great! Two quick questions. Do I need the mod installed on my box or does only the host need it? Also, when do you want our pretenders by?

Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
Good questions, Charshep.
You need to have the complete mod enabled when you create your pretender. That is essential, or else we'll need to restart.
The game is filling up very fast! So, maybe we'll start this Sunday night? We'll see.

Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
I really love the look of the Bering map, so I am interested in playing if there is a spot left. Nation TBA!

Welcome Foodstamp.
Sorry DryaUnda. Foodstamp elbowed his way in. I'll keep you in mind in case someone drops out before we get started.
The mod is here: CB Mod Thread

Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
Okay. Now that we have a full roster, I'd ask that each player send me a PM with his/her email address (unless you know I already have it). I will then send you mine.
Once you have my email, you can send me your pretender file. It will be a .2h file in your newlords folder. I will send further instructions via email, etc.
Thanks.

Re: PBEM Game: BERING (Open for players)
Getting a core dump after enabling and trying to create a new game:
Ngot gick fel!
name2spell: no such spell!!
Ngot gick fel!
name2spell: no such spell!!
Sorry to be such a n00b but any ideas what's wrong? The mod logo shows up correctly in the corner of the splash screen.

BTW, I'm on Linux. Don't know if that matters or not (I hope not). Files look fine after unzipping them.
