Re: Another Visitor. Stay awhile. Stay forever!
Some clues ? How old are you ?
Ascendency ? Obviously the greatest alien gallery I've ever seen
Too bad the game had never been never adapted to modern OS-es...

Impossible Mission 1
For myself, I had a nagging feeling I have heard this in some game as well, but then I realized it was Diablo 1's "Stay awhile, and listen!"

That sounds like Dr. Zoidberg. I'm reasonably sure that they put it into the show, too.

I feel old. A lot of new threads that I see popping up, I always want to say "somebody posted that before!", the one before that was vfb's "Playing turns on a network server" tip. I already suggested this a couple of times!

Well, I felt rather clever finding this one, so I didn't know if anyone else had. I actually was searching "cephalopod", and found this on page 3.
Awesome finds as well, Herode!
This guy is pretty cool.
And this is an old favorite.....
OMG It's coming right for us!
(Oh and I'm glad people got the Impossible Mission reference. Seemed appropriate, since the Glass Squid in the first post, is the Visitor. )

It is actually also a cephalopod (squid/octopus), it is the only specimen of that species ever recovered (I was checking it out last night too, it's awesome).
Anyway, if you look closely, you can see the signature body form of the squid - 8 small tentacles, and 2 macro-tentacles. Great stuff!
