Means underwater nations can pretty much keep on forging/spell casting as normal. The only drawback is when a doom horror shows up.
I have been attacked by multiple horrors on a battlefield and accidently horror marked a couple of the horrors, who then amusingly fought each another. Ignoring my troops completely.
A combination of spells to hold horrors in place, with direct damage spells works very well vs horrors.
Also when astral corruption is up returning on any of your S mages outside your capital will keep them safe.
Good list thou.

Unless this has changed recently, returning works just fine in your capital. The key is that it's during an assassination attempt.

Re: Answers to Lesser horrors...
My God! How many turns I have wasted moving out of my capitol so I'd be 'safe' scripting returning when AC is up. I should have just tried it, but never had the guts.
Thanks Jazzepi.

Yeah, Micah recently made me believe it works with assassinations. I was wary of it before.

Re: Answers to Lesser horrors...
Open up your windows and behold the never ending vista of horrors. There in the distance, can you see? 95, maybe even 98, demons of unimaginable terror, all led by their crazed taskmaster sprung from the gates of corruption over a millennium ago. Watch as he swings his terrifying bill, converting thousands to his evil cause. Only legendary heroes such as Mac and Linus dares defy him. Will they survive the 7 years of plague that is to come? Only time will tell.
