Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
Oh right, your friend was going to play Patala right? Yea the earlier CBM versions really screwed them over. What with their reliance on clams and elephants. Oh well. We'll just have to rush them before they can get critical clam numbers!

Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
Would you please be so kind to point me towards that Assimilation mod?
The link on Llama ( http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showpost.php?p=46696) doesnt lead to anything mod-shaped.

Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
I'll give it til Thursday, then I'll start the game with the numbers we have.
I'm happy to delay if people think that it is appropriate.

Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
Naa. They are not kill on sight. Unlike Ermor were the problem just escalate the longer you go, LA Ry'leth actually have to pay upkeep for its freespawn. This in combination with its deadly dominion means that Ry'leth should be a harmless nuclear waste come midgame that can be safely domkilled because they cant replace their temples or recruit more mages due to negative income.
CBM fixed this problem but...

Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
Guys, I'm gonna drop out of this game. I just can't deal with the lack of CBM mod for this game. It's going to turn into a complete cheese-fest, full of Gem Generation items, Tartarians, and lame tactics.
I'm out.

Re: Frashkart : LA MP (design pretenders)
I second the pro vanilla sentiments!
Also, I discovered a missing province link on our pangaea map, so opened up the editer to clean it up for a hypothetical version 1.1. After the editer was open though, one thing led to another, and I have given 90% of the provinces names based on the real world. If it is possible to change the map at this stage, might I recommend we use my newly edited version? If not I'm not particularly bothered, its just a cosmetic change, plus getting rid of a hidden choke point in 'North America'. Also that will mean I won't have to painstakingly go over the Siberia portion with google maps open .
