http://seiv.pbw.cc <- this is a hyperlink, although it isn't underlined...

PS: there's no UBB code for "underline"...

I have not tried PBW yet.. but plan to. One question I would have, is can the host lengthen the time for turn turnarounds as the game grows more complex ? Seems from some of the discussion here, that you can.

Yes, the game host can change the turn duration as needed. The host can also change when/how the server runs the turns: it can be fully automatic, only after the Last player uploads his turn, only when the turn duration expires, or only when the host manually runs the turn.

It's quite common to adjust these to accommodate players who are going on trips, etc.

I would probably play PBW if the site didn't hurt my eyes. Ack! Blue text on a black background?!?

Well, now that I have gotten out of school, and all I have to worry about is a job I can probably get started with PBW
I have had an account but I never could play, due to time problems.

I'm pretty sure you can change that in your browser.

For me, PBW would be easier to use if there were some filters that could be used in finding games.

Currently I have been looking off an on for a new game or to join as a replacement player for a SEIV Gold v 1.67 with turns being 48 hours+. Having Version and turn-rate filters would make my search much easier. As it is, I spend a minute or two a week looking at the open games. I bet that I have missed one or two games that I would have joined.

But now that I just noticed the small universe game meets my requirements, I think I'll try to join that one!
