Maybe for you. IE has never been slow for me.

you should try Opera- even faster again, with some cool features that IE and netscape lack.

I mean no offense Fyron, all of your Posts have been great, very informative, funny, serious, and down right helpful to many people. If there was an award to be given out, say an MVP (Most Valued Poster) I would vote for you in a heart beat.
Perhaps David could make you a really cool avatar when you break 10k.

Re: PBW Admins Or Other Computer Smart People
Guess I am too late (as usual).
I would have ruled out security (anti-virus software and firewall) early 'cause I suspect Attrocities had been accessing the site in the past. Also, I run Network Ice and have NAT on my router and I experience no problems.
Since another browser works, I might hazard a guess that it was MS's latest update which newsreports have said was pulled after over 600,000 people lost some kind of connectivity after the patch was run. The patch was released Last Friday, I think. So, IF you updated your system with that patch (I think it was an XP patch), that may be your problem and you should consider removing it. If not, then I'm not sure what could have caused it.
Glad to hear it's working with a workaround anyway!
I have to agree...for some reason, the email doesn't always work. I did 20 (or so) turns with Mark the Merciful over the weekend and 19 out of 20 times, it sent the new turn via email. But one time, didn't. Go figure.

You see, I was right, it was the latest patch that did you in. And to think those jerks at MS didn't know what the problem was. That should tell you how well they understand their own product.
If Aaron ran MS, it would be a lot better ran with patches that actually fix things and not break them.
At least you have figured a way around the problem.
