Re: OT: Browsers & NetScape
Yeah, what Ruatha says. Phoenix is a slick browser and there are Versions for linux and windows.

Re: OT: Browsers & NetScape
Phoenix is not a slick browser. It is full of random glitches and bugs. And, it suffers from the clunkiness of the Mozilla line of browsers.

Re: OT: Browsers & NetScape
Fyron seems to be warming to MyIE2 now... It really is an excellent browser, and whatever misunderstandings their website and documentation has is probably because it's developed by a Chinese software house (at least I think it's a Chinese software house...)
It's able to be based of the IE5.x core probably because Microsoft loves to use DLLs for their apps, so all their other apps can use each other. This means that everyone else can too, they just can't see the code inside.
And my poll on the browser topic has finished... not too many suprises

Re: OT: Browsers & NetScape
All right then, maybe someone can answer this question about MyIE2... whenever I try to use the mousewheel (really the edge of my laptop's touchpad) to scroll a page, after a few seconds of scrolling the thing just goes spastic and starts scrolling up and down (mostly down) wildly... I reported this as a bug, but it doesn't by any chance happen to be a secret "mouse gesture" I've never heard of, does it?

Re: OT: Browsers & NetScape
Mouse gestures are only with the right mouse button held down (up-down = refresh, left = back, right = forward, down = new page, up-left = prev. tab, up-right = next tab, down-right = close tab).
To me, it just sounds like it's interpreting you putting your finger down as "up a little" (touch pads are a bit screwy in general), and there's a slight buffering problem with the scroll Messages (scrolling fast causes the scroll Messages to be backed up, and it can keep scrolling for a while after you stop). Does it do this in any other applications?

I wouldn't go that far... I am still not liking this tabbed browsing thing...

Well, the random glitches and bugs is not an opinion.

As stated I'm using ver 0,3 for about a year now, I still haven't been bothered with a single bug or glitch. Can be that they are in some function I don't use.
I guess I can look at the read-me for ver 0,4 to see what I'm suffering from, but why?

That's your opinion, not mine. I find it a slick browser
