Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Elorin gets a RP vote for that long speech.
I just kinda feel like I've done nothing but chase villians down in marathons in this game.
The game is good...Just occasionally a little too good in the complicated plots department.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
I'm with Narf here. While I really enjoy the long complicated plots and suchlike, sometimes I have a hankering for a simple dungeon-crawl session.
Currently my XP is at 152689 (Grr! 311 XP away from levelling up!), and my wealth is at 10765.13 GP, if I'm accounting correctly.
My RP vote goes to Eldon.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Wealth, not gold; has an impact on CR approprietness; a Headband of Intellect +6 is valued at 36,000 gp; I'm looking for the market value of useful equipment plus your loose cash; the 10,765.13 is definitively off.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Oh geez... that's gonna be a heck of a fun listing... All prices in GP:
2500 : Bag of holding type 1
2500 : Ring of sustenance
2200 : Ring of Feather Falling
75000 : Robe of the Archmagi
36000 : Headband of Intellect +6
16000 : Amulet of Health +4
13000 : Monk's Belt
9000 : Bead of Healing
17009 : Light Mithral Shield +4
13000 : loose cash
==
Total: about 180,000 GP
Guess I've accumulated quite a bit... does that seem about right for an XL17 char?

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
You're nearly 18th, at which point you should normally have roughly 440,000 gp worth of stuff. I recognized that this was happening, which was the reason I asked.
Oh, and the spellbook - don't forget the spellbook; 100 gp/spell level.

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Bracers of Armor +8(64,000 GP)
Ring of Protection +5(50,000 GP)
Amulet of Natural Armor +4(not being used)(16,000 GP)
Portable Hole(20,000 GP)
Leather pouch thingie for the portable hole and a few platnium pieces(10 GP?)
Cloak of Resistance +4(16,000 GP)
Gloves of Dexterity +6(36,000 GP)
Claw Sheaths +2(also not being used)(8,000 for both, I think)
Draconic Training Ring(5,000 GP)
Sword of Subtlety(not being used either...)(11155 GP)
Adamantine Short(3,010 GP)
Note: Items I don't use are counted as half market price(money I get if I sell it), and items I use are counted as full market price(since I'm not going to sell them anytime soon.)
And 1000 platnium pieces, 10547 gold, and 12 silver pieces.
Total of it all is... 249,723.2. Wow. Of course, all I have to compare it to is the wizard...
And add 36,000 for the perpiat of wisdom +6, 13,000 for the monk's belt... For a total of nearly 300,000. So... I'm 280,000 gold short of what 19th level characters start off with. Shiney gold...

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Well, including the 100 gp/spell level for the spellbook that's about 40,000 GP or so...

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.
Eldon tends not to spend as much. You have a slight habit of having to re-equip your form every now and again.
