Helheim scores have been going from too high to...overwhelming. 154 provinces, 325 gem income, that's like everybody else combined. The fight is fun, but seems a little pointless. Any thoughts?

Lanka wants at least one battle with Helheim before calling it quits.

I'm ready to call it a game if everyone else is.

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]
This seems to be one of the difficulties of having a game without clear victory conditions. My understanding is Lanka and I are supposed to script attacks on the next turn.
I am ok wih going a couple more turns if Rev. wants, but maybe we say if in 3-4 turns things still look much like this we call the game? My turns take a long damn time.
Also, just to be clear, I'm also ok with calling it now, because. you know.. my turns take a long damn time

Let's don't prolong this on my account. Ermor?

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]
Yeah, fair cop.
I'm pretty sure I can preserve some form of territorial integrity and remain viable for maybe five more turns, but Helheim is playing well so I won't do better than 1:1 on average and he will grind me down with his much superior income (gold and gems) and then crush me under his boot heel like a tiny, insignificant bug
So yeah, I am good to call it - well played Austen!
Talking of victory conditions, I really do like "more than half the capitals, for three complete turns (e.g. not counting the turn that you take a capital)". Seems to work well to produce an outcome.

So are we done here then? I don't want to spend the time for the turn if we're done

Re: NEWBIE GAME - EA - Stumble onwards to Victory! [STARTED 12/12 REMAIN]
Seems there are some votes, I'm fine with conceding victory. I still have my full armies left, but I'm almost drained on many gem types, and can't replenish them at Helheim rate. And don't want to see my hall of famers Fomorian Kings dying painfully :P
Well played then, Austen. Talk about reaching critical mass!
Will you do a brief of the game on your perspective? I like reading those.
